Wakehurst School Infrastructure Report

The NSW Government is investing record amounts in our schools across the State and schools in the Wakehurst electorate are not missing out.

School Infrastructure NSW is delivering once-in-a-generation school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school.

In the Wakehurst electorate, the current overall investment for this financial year is $5.78 million.

Minor works, including projects where the estimated cost of projects is under $1 million, are occurring at Allambie Heights, Beacon Hill, Killarney Heights High, Northern Beaches Secondary College and Cromer Campus.

Major works projects in the Wakehurst electorate include upgrades to Brookvale and Killarney Heights Public Schools.

Brookvale is receiving a new hall, two new learning spaces and improved outdoor play spaces.

Killarney Heights is receiving seven new permanent teaching spaces, a special programs room and teaching spaces for 750 students.

In addition to this, ten schools in the electorate are set to receive new air conditioning systems in classrooms and libraries through the $500 million Cooler Classrooms fund.

This is great news for our local schools and all schools across the State!
