It was my great privilege to be invited to the White Knight Foundation Gala Dinner to raise awareness and money for this cause.
The White Knight Foundation was established in August 2013 from the result of an unprovoked attack on Liam Knight in January 2013, where a 2.8m long steel rod was thrown, striking Liam, piercing through his skull.
Thankfully, Liam survived, but he continues to endure a long road of rehabilitation from the injuries he sustained.
After months of witnessing Liam’s determination and fight to get back to his former self, it was evident that there were other victims who needed help and support so they too, can get back to their physical and mental best.
The White Knight Foundation draws attention to the prevalence and absolute stupidity of unprovoked youth violence whilst raising funds for young victims and their families to assist them on their journey to recovery.
Over $90,000.00 was raised on the night as family, friends, community and business supported this amazing family and their efforts to stop unprovoked youth violence.
