St John’s Catholic School, Narraweena

One of the best things about being a local MP is that I get to spend time with school students and teachers in the electorate.

Today I visited year 5 & 6 students at St John’s Catholic School in Narraweena to talk about the workings of the NSW Parliament and the role of government.

There were some interesting questions from the children on local issues such as the hospital, on taxation, and on the difference between state and federal parliaments.

They were an interesting and engaging group!
