Action continues to get our new hospital facilities. Local MPs have met with Health Infrastructure representatives to progress the proposals.
Just before Christmas I met government officers on site to discuss various aspects.
Negotiations are occurring on the transfer of council owned land (on the eastern side of Wakehurst Parkway) to the NSW Government.
I am also investigating whether there should be integration of the Wakehurst Parkway/Warringah Road grade separation (flyover) into the hospital design.
Recently local MPs also met with medical specialists at Mona Vale Hospital to confirm our commitment to get the new hospital facilities commenced in our first term of government.
We are committed to achieving our new hospital facilities – much to do!
